Unbeaten in its last seven matches, OKC Energy FC (10-5-7) hosts Real Monarchs SLC (2-12-7) in what will be the first-ever meeting of the two clubs. With 37 standings points, Energy FC is currently in second place of the USL's Western Conference, while Real Monarchs ranks 12th in the conference with 13 points.
With the help of OKC forward Danni Konig's hat trick last weekend in Portland, OKC enters Saturday's match off its highest-scoring game in franchise history. The 4-3 win over Portland tied a franchise record for goals in a game, while Konig's three-goal performance was the first in club history.
Real Monarchs SLC enters Saturday's game off a 5-1 loss in Tulsa last Thursday and winless in its last four. Real has just two wins on the season, a 3-1 victory over the Austin Aztex on July 11 and a 1-0 win over Sacramento on April 29. Max Rauhofer leads the club with seven goals and 14 points this season.
