After a full week of practice and preparation, the Charlottetown Islanders are back on the ice in a Saturday night showdown across the Confederation Bridge against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The Islanders (13-21-2-1) were in need of that full week of practice; the Isles have lost three straight and nine of their past ten games, with their one victory coming against the Titan. After a decent amount of player movement, this week represented the first time the whole group practiced together.
The same could be said for the Titan (14-19-4-2) who have lost four straight and five of their past six games. Bathurst recently traded away franchise players Jacob Melanson and Riley Kidney during the QMJHL's holiday trading period.
ROSTER UPDATES
Charlottetown
Michael Horth was listed as injured prior to the team's last game against Moncton; his status is unknown heading into tonight.
Acadie-Bathurst
Bathurst is expected to have a fully healthy roster after having no injuries reported ahead of their most recent game against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
