Frisco, TX - The Frisco Fighters enter week five as one of only two teams in the League to go undefeated (Tuscan Sugar Skulls 3-0) so far. Last week the Fighters beat the Massachusetts Pirates 56-39 at home after falling to the Pirates 27-30 in March of 2022. The Fighters currently lead the League in offensive scoring with 223 points.
The Fighters are led by head coach Billy Back, who continues to hold the number one spot in the IFL coaches' poll for the fourth week in a row.

PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V RATTLERS
This will be the fourth meetup for the Fighters and the Arizona Rattlers, with the last game being August 21, 2021 and resulting in a Fighters loss (38-55). The Rattlers are currently 2-2 falling to Bay Arena Panthers 46-47 and the Tucson Sugar Skulls 48-54.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch this week, and most weeks, is quarterback TJ Edwards. Edwards leads the League is scoring with 84 points so far this season. He also leads the League in scoring touchdowns, with 14 so far resulting in an average of 21 points per game.
Another player to watch this week is wide receiver Spencer Tears. Tears has been on short-term IR for the last couple of games, but has been looking strong in practice.
Final player to watch this week is Phazione McClurge. The wide receiver scored the first touchdown of the night against the Pirates, securing the momentum for the Fighters to eventually take control of the game.
