Tonight...

Will be the biggest game on the season to date for the Blades as they welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors, who are currently chasing them in the East Division. Saskatoon sits 6 points ahead of the Warriors but Moose Jaw has 4 games in hand. With Prince Albert already clinching a playoff spot and looking to clinch first place in the East, the Blades and Warriors will likely have to battle for home ice in the first round... tonight might just be a first round match up preview between two fierce rivals.

The last game...

Kirby Dach (19,20,21) scored a hat-trick while Eric Florchuk (16,17) and Max Gerlach (30,31) each scored twice in a 7-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings. Gary Haden had 4 helpers in the win while Ryan Hughes had 3 assists... Dorrin Luding made 25 saves in goal for his 6th win of the season.

Moose Jaw is coming off a 4-3 loss on Saturday in Prince Albert... Jett Woo had 3 assists while goals came from Brayden Tracey, Justin Almeida, and Josh Brook. Warriors' leading scorer Tristin Langan was slapped with a 1-game suspension for an incident in that game, so he will be out this evening.

Head to head...

Saskatoon leads the 6-game season series 2-1, all wins coming from the road team so far. The Blades have done the scoring by committee in this series with 4 players each having 3 points... Tristin Langan has 5 points in the series for Moose Jaw, Jett Woo is close behind with 4. Dorrin Luding has both Saskatoon wins while Brodan Salmond has played in all 3 games for Moose Jaw.

Who's hot...

Gary Haden has 9G-4A in his last 5 games... Max Gerlach is on an 8-game point streak and is coming off a 2G-1A game last night... Kirby Dach scored his 2nd career hat-trick last night as well. Eric Florchuk has 6 goals in his last 6 games.
