Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE (11-32-7-1) host the Medicine Hat Tigers (28-18-2-2) for the second time this season on Wednesday, February 6.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.
Wednesday's game is Mental Health Awareness Night presented by the Canadian Mental Health Association, Kootenays branch. Five dollars from every walk-up ticket for Wednesday's game will go towards the local CMHA branch.

The ICE are coming off of a 3-2 victory over the Swift Current Broncos on February 1. The ICE received two goals from Connor McClennon and the other from Jaeger White. Peyton Krebs picked up two assists in the game. Goaltender Jesse Makaj stopped 24-of-26 shots. The Broncos got goals from Owen Blocker and Christian Riemer. The ICE outshot the Broncos 31-26. They went 0-for-5 on the power play, 2-for-2 on the penalty kill and won 29-of-60 face-offs.
The ICE have amassed 30 points this season, which is good for sixth in the Central Division and 11th in the Eastern Conference.

The Medicine Hat Tigers visit the Kootenay ICE for the second time this season on Wednesday, February 6. Wednesday's game is the start of a four-game road trip for the Tigers, who also travel to Everett, Seattle and Portland before returning home to face the Saskatoon Blades on February 13. The Tigers play 12 games in the month of February. Wednesday's game is the third of the month for the Tigers.
