PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC enters its second week of preseason action with 14 players under contract and an additional number invited on trial.

The Week Ahead
Pittsburgh will compete in two matches this weekend. The team will first play Duquesne University at 7 p.m. on Friday before battling the University of Charleston (WV) at 2 p.m. on Sunday - both matches taking place at Highmark Stadium.
All preseason games at Highmark Stadium are free to attend for the public.
Duquesne University completed its 2018 campaign with a 4-9-3 overall record en route to an 11th-place finish in the Atlantic 10 Conference of NCAA Division I. The squad had its highlight victory against No. 23 University of Rhode Island on its senior day.
Fresh off its 2017 NCAA Division II championship, University of Charleston (WV) had another strong season in 2018. The squad went unbeaten in its conference (13-0-1) en route to winning the Mountain East Conference tournament title.
Last Week
The Hounds went 2-0-0 in their first week of preseason action, defeating Cleveland State University, 1-0, and Gannon University, 6-0. The squad received its scoring from a plethora of athletes, including Neco Brett, Christian Volesky, Kevin Kerr and Steevan Dos Santos.
