Everett Silvertips News Release

EVERETT - With their regular season opener just one week away, the Everett Silvertips will complete their preseason schedule tonight hosting the second game of a home-and-home series with Seattle. Tickets to tonight's game are just $12 at the Comcast Arena box office!

Tonight's game also marks the end of our preseason Food Drive to benefit the Volunteers of America Everett Food Bank. We're encouraging all fans to bring non-perishable food donations with them to the game. Donation bins will be located at the main arena doors and the southeast arena entrance on Wall Street. Cash donations will also be accepted. The Everett Food Bank serves families, children, seniors and disabled individuals in over 3,000 local households every month. Click Here for more information.

The Silvertips would also like to remind all season ticket holders and mini-game package holders that tickets are now available for pick-up at the team office on the north side of Comcast Arena. The Silvertips office will be open today at 10:00 am for ticket pick-up in addition to our normal weekday office hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The Silvertips are 3-3 this preseason, splitting last weekend's two appearances at the Tri-City Americans' Preseason Tournament before falling to Seattle on Friday. The Thunderbirds are 2-2-1 this preseason after a 3-0 win in Friday's game.

The Silvertips' 10th Anniversary season begins on Saturday, September 22 against Prince George at Comcast Arena. Season tickets, mini-game packages and single-game tickets are on sale now, so visit www.everettsilvertips.com or call 425-252-5100 for more information.
