
Premier Lacrosse League Returns to Audi Field for 2022 Semifinals

WASHINGTON, DC - The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster announced today that the league will host its semifinals at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, September 11th.
"Audi Field is a top-class venue, providing a postseason atmosphere that has exceeded our expectations since our inaugural season," said Co-Founder and President, Paul Rabil. "Our 2021 Championship Game at Audi Field set attendance and viewership records. We're thrilled to return to the D.C. region, this time for our playoff semifinals."
Both semifinal matchups will be played in a doubleheader at Audi Field. The first faceoff is set for 12:15PM ET; the second game will begin at 3:00PM ET.
"Audi Field and the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, where our stadium is located, is quickly becoming a premier destination for sport and entertainment in the Nation's Capital," said Danita Johnson, President of Business Operations for D.C. United. "We are proud to once again welcome the Premier Lacrosse League to D.C. where there is an ever-growing appetite for the sport for their semi-final games."
The 2021 Championship at Audi Field was the highest attended game in PLL history, topping the 2019 Championship by 30%.
"As the official convention and sports authority for the District of Columbia, Events DC is honored to again host the Premier Lacrosse League in DC this year," said Gregory A.
