Saturday's game marks the third meeting between the PrairieThunder and Fort Wayne and the second at U.S. Cellular Coliseum this season. Both teams own a victory on their home ice with the Komets earning a 2-1 victory in Fort Wayne on Oct. 23 and Bloomington taking a 5-4 decision at U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Oct. 30. That victory snapped a seven-game losing streak overall against the Komets and a three-game string at home, dating back to last season.

Bloomington left winger Craig Macdonald ranks second in the league in scoring with 20 points, two behind Muskegon's Robin Bouchard, and goals scored (9) and fourth in assists (11); Jamie Carroll is second in power play assists with six, while Robin Gomez is second in penalty minutes (72) and major penalties (8).

Russ Smith is second in scoring among defensemen with seven points and in goals scored with three, while Justin Sawyer leads in major penalties among defensemen with eight. As a team, the PrairieThunder leads in eight of the 11 statistical categories - points scored, goals, assists, power play goals, short-handed goals, penalty minutes and major penalties.
