PrairieThunder Head Coach Jason Christie to Serve as Symphony Guest Conductor

The Bloomington PrairieThunder is proud to announce that Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations, Jason Christie, has been chosen by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra to serve as Guest Conductor for their Happy Holidays! Holiday Pops Spectacular which will be held at Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, December 19th at 3:00pm.
Coach Christie will join the Symphony in Bloomington, under the direction of Maestra Karen Lynne Deal, along with the Bloomington Normal Youth Symphony and St. Andrew's Pipes and Drums. The program of holiday favorites will include Sleigh Ride, The Bells of Christmas, Around the World at Christmastime, and O Holy Night.
Tickets for the Illinois Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops Spectacular at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts are available by calling 309-434-2777. Tickets may also be purchased at the door beginning two hours before the performance. Ticket prices range from $10 for students (6 years +) to $42 for premium seating. Senior discounts are also available.
State Farm is the 2010-2011 Season Sponsor of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra. PNC Bank is the sponsor of the Holiday Pops performances.
