Decatur, Il. - The Bloomington PrairieThunder shut-out the Quad City Mallards 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Decatur Civic Center in downtown Decatur, Illinois. The PrairieThunder closes out the Central Hockey League preseason with a record of 1-1.
Rookie defenseman Alan Mazur scored the lone goal in the game at 7:16 of the third period. Defenseman Bill Pinel and Anthony Ciraulo assisted on the goal. The PrairieThunder out shot Quad City 30 to 18 on the night.
PrairieThunder goaltenders Marco Edmond and D.J. DelBuono shared in the shoutout with DelBuono getting the victory.
