DECATUR, Ill. (October 10, 2010) - Alan Mazur scored the only goal and Marco Emond and D.J. DelBuono combined on a shutout as the host Bloomington PrairieThunder blanked the Quad City Mallards in Central Hockey League preseason action Sunday in Decatur.

Mazur's wraparound goal broke a scoreless deadlock at 7:16 of the third period.

Emond started in goal for Bloomington and stopped 14 shots before being relieved by DelBuono at 10:29 of the second period. DelBuono made four saves to complete the whitewashing.
