Power Puff Girls, "Miss Conduct" contest highlight late December slate

Houston, TX – The American Hockey League's Houston Aeros have announced their full slate of December promotions, with happenings for both children and adults on the horizon. The fun starts tonight and tomorrow, when there is a buy one, get one free ticket offer at center ice. Get two center ice tickets for just $28 as the Aeros take on the Norfolk Admirals at 7 p.m. tonight and tomorrow.

Other December highlights include the cap and trading card giveaways, the Power Puff Girls and a bikini contest.

Friday, Dec. 26, is the Aeros' Bad Gift Exchange. The Aeros are asking fans to bring in a gift they didn't want (yes, even fruitcake or other teams' promo items) in exchange for an Aeros twill baseball cap. There will be 3,000 caps available. The Aeros take on San Antonio at 7 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 28, is the Aeros' first trading card giveaway, with 2,500 sets available when the team plays host to Chicago at 5 p.m. In addition, the Power Puff Girls will be attending the game and taking pictures with children. Make sure to call the Aeros' office at 713.974.PUCK for details on how kids ages 2-12 get in free with an adult ticket for this game. The December 28 contest is also a Family Day. Fans who purchase the Sunday Family Days pack receive four tickets, four Aeros pucks, one parking pass and $20 of Toyota Center Bucks to be used for food and drink in the Toyota Center. This great value starts at $59 for upper end zone, $75 for lower end zone, $83 for corners and $115 for center ice/club seats. The other two Sunday Family Days games are January 4 and March 28. Sunday games begin at 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 30 is the KLOL Bikini Contest to select "Miss Conduct" for the 2003-04 season. Miss Conduct will be invited back to a pair of games later in the season.
