LORD OF THE RINGS NIGHT ON DEC. 26

It will be New Line Cinema's "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" Night on Friday, Dec. 26. "Lord of the Rings" movie posters and necklaces will be given out to 500 fans apiece, while lucky fans will win PlayStation 2 video games, t-shirts, books and movie tickets. There will also be a register-to-win for a two-foot talking Gollum statue that night.

DEC. 28 IS TRADING CARD NIGHT

The first 3,000 fans in attendance on Sunday, Dec. 28 will receive a 2003-04 Phantoms trading card set, courtesy of Subway. The Cingular Wireless Find Noki contest will also take place during the first intermission.

AHL ALL-STAR BALLOTING UNDER WAY

Fan balloting for the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic is under way exclusively on the official web site of the AHL, theahl.com. Fans have the opportunity to vote for the most deserving AHL players by visiting theahl.com and completing the official AHL All-Star Fan Ballot. The players receiving the most votes by position will earn berths in the starting lineups of both the Canadian AHL All-Star team and the PlanetUSA AHL All-Star team. A committee of AHL coaches will select the remaining All-Stars, and all 28 clubs will be represented on the final rosters.

By completing the official ballot, fans will be entered to win various prizes, including the grand prize of an autographed game-worn jersey from the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic. Ten second-prize winners will each win an autographed commemorative magazine from the event, and 10 third-prize winners will receive an official 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic T-shirt. On-line fan balloting at theahl.com will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 4.

WEB SITE UPDATES

The Phantoms web site is ready for the holiday season with the addition of blinking lights at the top of the homepage. Also new to www.phantomshockey.com is a Testimonials page in the Phan Phorum section, which is complete with touching letters and emails the Phantoms have received from fans this season and last.

WHITE ON "INSIDE THE PHANTOMS"

Center Peter White will be the guest on the next edition of "Inside the Phantoms" this Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by David Unkle, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every other Tuesday throughout the season on WNJC (1360 AM).

HOPE ON "RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS"

Defenseman Joey Hope will be the guest on the Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," this Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 4:30 p.m. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM).

PHANTOMS POSTGAME SHOW CONTINUES ON DEC. 28

Can't get enough Phantoms action? Then stick around for The Phantoms Postgame Show in Bullies Sports Bar & Restaurant. Hosted by David Unkle of The Topcat Sports Show on WNJC 1360-AM, The Phantoms Postgame Show lets you get up close and personal with your favorite Phantoms player following 21 games throughout the season. The next show will take place on Dec. 28. All Phantoms Postgame Shows can also be found on www.phantomshockey.com.

FIRST CN8 BROADCAST SET FOR DEC. 28

The first of six Phantoms games broadcast live on CN8, The Comcast Network, will be on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 5:00 p.m., when the team hosts the Binghamton Senators at the Wachovia Spectrum. The CN8 broadcast team will include play-by-play announcer Mick Moninghoff and color commentator Orest Kindrachuk. CN8 is a leading regional news, sports and entertainment network that reaches 6.2 million homes spanning from Maine to Maryland.

STUDENT TICKETS JUST $8 ON WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS

College and high school students with valid student IDs can attend all Phantoms games on Wednesdays and Fridays this season for just $8.
