(Corpus Christi, TX) - Russ Moyer's power play goal in the third period broke a 3-3 tie as the Odessa Jackalopes topped the Corpus Christi IceRays, 5-3, at the American Bank Center on Tuesday night.
Sebastien Thinel added an empty net goal with 1:20 left in the third period to give the Jacks the 5-3 lead. Odessa scored three power play goals in the game.
Dominic Leveille opened the scoring with a power play in the first period on assists from Thinel and Kory Karlander at 10:58.
Sebastien Thinel scored his first goal at 6:14 of the second period on another power play goal for Odessa.
Jeremy Symington made the start for Odessa, stopping 33 of 36 Corpus Christi shots.
