(Charleston, SC, August 20, 2013): The West Virginia Power dropped the first game of the road trip to the Charleston RiverDogs by a 3-2 final Tuesday evening at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Ballpark in 11 innings. In the 11th, Charleston's Greg Bird hit a double down the left field line, scoring Jose Rosario in walk-off fashion.

The RiverDogs plated the first run of the game in the fourth inning. With one-out, Bird hit a solo home run to left that gave Charleston a 1-0 lead.

Francisco Diaz collected two RBI's in the ballgame. In the fifth, Diaz hit a single to left that scored Luis Urena, who hit a one-out double prior to the Diaz hit.
