Potomac Nationals News Release
The bash at the beach between the Potomac Nationals the defending Southern Division champion Myrtle Beach Pelicans will come to a close with a rubber matchup from BB&T Coastal Field on Sunday night. The P-Nats are just 2-2 this season in the deciding games of a three-game series and only 4-5 in their first nine series finales in 2009. Still it's been a difficult season for the defending South Division Champions who still enter this third game with the P-Nats at the bottom of the Carolina League in both team hitting (.234) and team pitching (5.05).
Tonight's Pitching Matchup Potomac RHP Will Atwood (0-4, 9.23) vs. Myrtle Beach LHP Edgar Osuna (2-3, 4.01)
