Potomac Nationals 2016 Game Notes at Myrtle Beach Pelicans

The Potomac Nationals (29-24) look to bounce back from two consecutive losses and stay in the Northern Division race. After last night's 6-2 loss to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (27-26), the P-Nats sit five games behind division leading Lyncburg.

Potomac will turn to RHP Luis Reyes (6-2, 3.54), who has gone at least five innings in each of his last eight starts and has not pitched against the Pelicans this season. Opposite Reyes, the Pelicans will turn to RHP Trevor Clifton (3-3, 2.35), who enters tonight's matchup with the fourth best ERA among qualified pitchers in the Carolina League.

First pitch of the of game two of the four game series at TicketReturn.com Fieldstadium is set for 6:05 pm in Myrtle Beach, SC.
