On Sunday, the New York Liberty (5-9) fell to the Chicago Sky (9-4), 88-86, in the second matchup of their 2022 four-game season series.

At Barclays Center, the Liberty finished on 47.8% (32-67) shooting from the field, 47.8% (11-23) from three, and 91.7% (11-12) at the free throw line.

With Sabrina Ionescu's triple-double performance, there are now four players in WNBA history to record multiple triple doubles in a career; three of them, Ionescu, Parker, and Vandersloot played in this afternoon's matchup.

Four Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Ionescu, Dolson, Dangerfield, Han).

With her game-high 27-point, career-high 13-rebound, 12-assist performance, Sabrina Ionescu amassed her second-career triple-double, becoming just the fourth player in WNBA history to record multiple triple-doubles in a career, and at 24 years and 188 days old, she is the youngest player to record multiple-career triple-doubles. After securing her tenth rebound with 2.4 seconds remaining in the third period, she became the first-ever player to record a triple-double in under four quarters of play.

Against her former team, Stefanie Dolson scored 12 points on 83.3% (5-6) shooting from the floor, including 66.7% (2-3) from three-point range and 10 first-half points. She also added five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

Crystal Dangerfield finished with a season-high 11 points on 57.1% (4-7) shooting from the floor, including 100% (2-2) from behind the three-point arc.

Han Xu totaled 10 points on 50% (4-8) shooting from the floor - her eighth game of 10+ points in 11 apperances this season.

For Chicago, Emma Meesseman finished with 20 points, a team-high 11 rebounds, and five assists, while Courtney Vandersloot totaled 20 points, a team-high 11 assists, and five rebounds.
