
Portland Timbers, Thorns FC Host Inaugural 3v3 Tournament Presented by Providence

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers and Thorns FC are hosting the inaugural PTFC 3v3 Tournament presented by Providence, the club announced today. The co-ed competition will span from July 28-30 at Providence Park.
The three-day tournament will be comprised of three divisions - youth boys (ages 8 to 17), youth girls (ages 8 to 17) and co-ed adults (ages 18 to 60). Each team will have a maximum of six players and is guaranteed at least two 30-minute games in hopes of advancing through the double elimination style tournament. Fans and spectators will be able to observe the matches from the stands with an option to reserve center-field seats with complimentary beverages through purchase. Media wishing to attend the tournament can RSVP by sending an e-mail with name to palatorre@timbers.com. Entrance to the park will be through Gate B on the corner of 18th and Salmon St.
