Portland sends Bears down to fourth straight loss

Graham Mink and Colin Forbes scored first period goals and the Portland Pirates never looked back as they won 4-2 over the BEARS at GIANT Center. David Masse and Steve Brule scored goals to provide the HERSHEY offense. Eric Perrin picked up two more points on assists to maintain his pursuit of Cleveland's Miroslav Zalesak for the AHL scoring lead. Perrin now has 59 points on 20 goals and 39 assists. Peter Budaj took the loss in net to fall one game under .500 at 15-16-6.

The BEARS travel to Bridgeport Sunday to face the Sound Tigers. Face-off at the Arena at Harbor Yard is at 4:00 p.m.
