Moose recall McVicar

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled goaltender Rob McVicar from the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

McVicar has appeared in 3 games for the Moose this season with one win and a tie. He has a goalsagainst average thus far of 2.50 and a save percentage of .927. He has played in 17 games with the Inferno this season, with a 10-4-2 record and a 2.66 goals-against average to go along with a .905 save percentage.

The 22-year old native of Brandon, MB played four seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League, appearing in 147 games and accumulating 81 wins, 49 losses, and nine ties. His career goals-against average with Brandon was 2.86 with a career save percentage of .895.

McVicar was previously recalled to the Moose back on November 11 and again on January 10. He was the Vancouver Canucks' fifth choice, 151st overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
