Portland Winterhawks News Release

The Hawks went 3-0-0-1 over the last week and were named an Honorable Mention in this week's CHL Top 10 Rankings.

It's the second straight week the Winterhawks have found themselves just on the outside of the Top 10. Portland improved to 41-20-1-4 on the season and now sit second in the Western Conference.

Portland also had a big week individually, with forward Cody Glass being named WHL Player of the Week and netminder Shane Farkas being named CHL Goaltender of the Week.

The Hawks take on the Prince George Cougars in the second game of a back-to-back tonight, then return home a game this Saturday, March 10th against the Tri-City Americans.

On that night, the Winterhawks will be honoring the 1998 Memorial Cup winning team, as well as inducting four legendary Portland players into the Winterhawks Hall of Fame. Grab your tickets HERE!
