(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 20, 2006) - Long Island Ducks team officials today announced that the Port Jefferson Ferry has created a package for fans wishing to attend the Ducks North Division Championship Series Game One at Bridgeport on Tuesday, September 26 at 6:05 p.m.

"The Port Jeff Ferry has created a great package that we hope our fans take advantage of," says Ducks general manager Michael Hirsch. Each game in this three-game series will be crucial and we hope that our fans will head across the sound to take away some of their home field advantage."

The special playoff package will include a game ticket, a round trip walk-on ferry fare and five B.B. Bucks (ballpark money) to spend at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The package will cost $31 for adults and $20 for children (12 years old and under) and can be reserved by calling the Port Jefferson Ferry Tours Office at (631) 473-5138. The Port Jefferson Ferry Company has also agreed to hold the last ferry back to Long Island 30 minutes following the last out of the Ducks and Bluefish's playoff showdown.
