Red Bull New York News Release
SECAUCUS, NJ (July 10, 2002) - Pop music group LMNT, which recently completed the first leg of their North American concert tour with Britney Spears, will perform the national anthem prior to this Saturday's 4 p.m. ET doubleheader at Giants Stadium featuring the MetroStars and Chicago Fire, followed by renowned Scottish club Glasgow Rangers and Argentine champion River Plate.
LMNT (singers Bryan Chan, Mike Miller, Ikaika Kahoano and Jonas Persch) were the first artists signed to the new music label created by Atlantic Records and Teen People magazine, Purple Leopard. Their debut single, "Juliet," topped the Radio Disney charts earlier this year. The band is part of the major stable of artists represented by the music division of Wilhelmina Artists Management (WAM).
Tickets for this Saturday's doubleheader, as well as all MetroStars home games, are available at all local Ticketmaster outlets, at the Continental Airlines Arena box office, at www.MetroStars.com and by calling 1-888-4-METROTIX.
