DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators announced Tuesday that forward Tanner Pond has been released from his PTO with the AHL's Providence Bruins and returns to the team while the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL have recalled defenseman Rick Pinkston.
Pond, 24, returns to the Gladiators after he skated in two games with the P-Bruins this past weekend. In 61 games for the Gladiators during his rookie campaign, the 6-foot, 194-pound center collected 37 points (14-23-37) which tied for third on the team while his 163 penalty minutes and eight fighting majors ranked second.
