Sampair and Sergeev Called up to San Antonio

TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's St. Louis Blues, and Head Coach Rob Murray announced two roster moves Tuesday. The American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage signed Oilers' forward Charlie Sampair to an professional tryout offer, and also recalled defenseman Dmitrii Sergeev.
Sampair, 24, earned his first AHL opportunity after a sensational first season in Tulsa, where he recorded 61 points (32g, 29a) in 71 games. The second-year forward from White Bear Lake, MN improved his point total from his rookie season with the Alaska Aces (3g, 10a) by 48 points to lead the Oilers in scoring.
Sergeev, 22, returns to San Antonio, where he participated in the Rampage's AHL training camp in September. The second-year defenseman under contract with St. Louis compiled 22 points (3g, 19a) in 56 games with the Oilers. Sergeev, a native of Chelyabinsk, signed with the Blues after finishing his junior career with the Ontario Hockey League's Kitchener Rangers in 2016 and has yet to appear in a AHL regular season game.
