Edenton got on the board first with an RBI single by Kevin Whitehead that brought home Zach Stewart, who singled, to give the Steamers a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
Wilson struck back against Leibrandt in the top of the third when Steve Nikorak hit his first home run of the year. A two run homer that put the Tobs back out in front 2-1.
After a Joey Wendle double and a fielder's choice by Vinnie Mejia, Ryan Porter continued his hot hitting with a two-run single that reclaimed the lead for the Steamers 3-2 in the bottom of the third.
Edenton added a run in the bottom of the fourth when Tobs starting pitcher Gil Walker was called for a balk with runners on first and third. Ryan Brenner was awarded home plate and the Steamers had a 4-2 lead.
After Leibrandt issued a walk, and then allowed a single, followed by an infield hit to load the bases, head coach Dirk Kinney went to the bullpen. Jordan Glover threw a wild pitch that allowed one run to score and then relinquished two RBI groundouts that gave the Tobs a 5-4 lead.
