
Pocoyo Pays a Visit to Condorstown on Friday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Condors conclude a three-game homestand with a meeting on Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena with the rival Stockton Thunder on Friday. Popular Univision and Nick Jr. television animated star Pocoyo will be in the building. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the puck drops at 7 p.m.
Friday's "Pocoyo Night"is presented by Univision and La Caliente 96.9 FMand will feature the children's television star entertaining fans and taking pictures in the Condors photo booth. Many of Pocoyo's episodes include a party of some kind and he'll bring the celebration to Condorstown as well! The game is also one of six Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Condors Kids Club Nights. All members of the Kids Club will receive free lower level tickets to the game.
The rivalry contest is also a Mercy and Memorial Hospitals & Diamond Technologies T.H.I.N.K. Night. The Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge program allows students to earn terrace level tickets to the game through prior exceptional performance.
The Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth will be open on Friday at the north end of the concourse. Stop by after the game and get an autograph from LW Jesse Gimblett and one of the newest members of the Condors, F Robby Dee.
Friday is just the beginning of a long weekend for the Condors. On Saturday and Sunday, the team heads up the road to Stockton to face the Thunder at Stockton Arena. Saturday's game starts at 7:30 p.m. and is one of the season ticket holder specialty road games. Season ticket holders can redeem the voucher in their booklets at Stockton Arena on Saturday and help cheer on the Condors in enemy territory. It will be Head Coach Matt O'Dette's first trip back to Stockton in the regular season.
Sunday's game against the Thunder starts at 4 p.m.
Every game will be broadcast live in their entirety on Fox Sports 970 AM, and also available online at www.foxsports970am.com. In addition, anyone with a smartphone can download the iheartradio app and tune into the action from anywhere. Saturday's game is the Condors Game of the Week on Fox Sports Radio 610 AM in Lancaster. The games will be streamed online through the exclusive pay-per-view video provider of the ECHL, www.americaone.com.
