LAST GAME: The Tigers opened their 2015 postseason in dramatic fashion on Saturday night as the Red Deer Rebels came to town looking to spoil the party. The Tigers and Rebels met 5 times in their franchises history in the playoffs, with the Tigers holding a slight edge. The game was fast paced and hard hitting as the Rebels tried to take advantage of the Tigers size and punish anything into the boards. Medicine Hat was not intimidated and pushed back on the visitors and were rewarded when Kyle Becker wristed home his 3rd career playoff goal. The lead would be extended on the game's first power play in the second period when the 50 goal man Cole Sanford potted his 1st of the postseason after a nifty play by Trevor Cox setup the goal. The Rebels would come close adding a late third period marker but the Tigers would take this one 2-1.

HAMMER TIME: For any team in the postseason, goaltending is crucial for success. In Medicine Hat they have one of the best netminder in the league with Czech import Marek Langhamer.
