Pit Spitters Add Slugger Michael Slaten to Roster

Traverse City Pit Spitters News Release

The Traverse City Pit Spitters have made the following roster moves:

Added 3B/SS/OF Michael Slaten to the roster. The Texas native is a Jr. at Benedictine College - http://www.ravenathletics.com/roster/22/3/6854.php

Slaten takes the place of P Chase Wheatcroft who was recently drafted by the Oakland A's.

Also, the contract of temporary player SS Trey Vanderpool was waived. A corresponding move will be announced later.
