Pit Bulls to hold open tryout

May 24, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Miami Majesty News Release

Miami, FL. Frank Rosso, Co-owner of the ABA 2005 expansion Florida Pit Bulls today announced that they will be holding an official tryout camp on Saturday, June 18th at Miami-Dade College's Kendall Campus. Information regarding the tryouts can be accessed by going to www.floridapitbulls.com. At the site, players can register and pay the registration fee online. Online payments can be made by credit card or check.

There will be a second tryout camp with a July date to be announced shortly. This tryout will be held in Coral Springs, Florida at the City of Coral Springs Gymnasium.

"With the overwhelming amount of exceptional talent in South Florida, it's going to be very difficult to secure a spot on this team," said Rosso. "It's a given that, because of Tim Hardaway's involvement with the team, our players will be getting looks from all over the country. Players that have exceptional skills, but just lack the visibility, will certainly have an opportunity to move up to the "Big Game" if they earn a spot on our roster."
