Pirates Individual Game Tickets Go On Sale Monday

PORTLAND, ME – Tickets to each of the Portland Pirates' 40 regular season home games will go on sale this coming Monday, Oct. 4. at 10:00am at the Cumberland County Civic Center box office at Civic Center Square, in Portland, ME. The box office is open Monday through Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Fans can also purchase tickets online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling ticketmaster directly at (207) 775-3331. Tickets are available at the following ticketmaster locations:

Filene's at the Bangor Mall, 651 Stillwater Avenue in Bangor, ME

Bull Moose Music, 151 Maine Street, in Brunswick, ME

Bull Moose Music, 20 East Street at the Lewiston Mall in Lewiston, ME

Filene's 600 Maine Mall Road in South Portland, ME

Season ticket and group plans can be purchased through the Pirates offices at 531 Congress St. in Portland.

The Pirates ticket prices start at just $6.00 for Crow's Nest, $10.00 for Quarter Deck, $15.00 Main Deck and $19.00 Captain's Deck. Youth tickets for age 16 and under are all just $6.00 except for Captain's Deck ($19). Groups of 15 or more are eligible for discounted tickets. In addition to the discount, groups also receive recognition on the message boards in the arena as well as other special incentives. For more information on group tickets, contact the Pirates' office at (207) 828-4665 ext. 350. Birthday packages, presented by Amato's are also available this season starting at just $135. The Portland Pirates will begin their twelfth season as a member of the American Hockey League at home on Saturday, October 16, 2004 when they host the St. John's Maple Leafs at 7:05pm. Opening night will also include fireworks after the game. The Pirates schedule features a host of traditional New England rivals including 17 Saturday night home games as part of "Hockey Night in Portland."

The Pirates will play 36 home games on weekends (Friday-Saturday-Sunday), which is full of traditional home dates including Kids' New Years on Wednesday, December 31st against Providence. For the tenth time in their history, the Pirates will host their annual Kids' New Years celebration as part of New Years Portland with post-game fireworks.

The Pirates' promotional plan and schedule will be released this weekend.
