The Pioneers have signed RHP John Chadwick to the roster to help shore things up in the bullpen for the remaining 19 games of the regular season.
Chadwick pitched in the Blue Jays organization in 2001 going 1-1, 4.43 in Medicine Hat (Alberta). He was 1-5 with 1 save, 5.54 with Charleston (WV) this year, The Bramptn, Ontario native is 24 years old.
Elmira traded for erkshire RHP Jackson Crowther on Monday and signed free agent Keith Forbes, formerly with Quebec, on Tuesday.
The Pioneers are filling the gaps left when relievers Julio Perez and Matt Pike were signed by the Yankees organization last week.
