
Pino Out, Lewis in for Roadrunners

EDINBURG, Texas---The Edinburg Roadrunners of the North American League announced that they have traded Wilmer Pino to the Maui Na Koa Ikaika for a player to be named later and have signed infielder Michael Lewis.
Pino was acquired in a trade with the Winnipeg Goldeyes on May 23. He played in two games for the Roadrunners where he recorded two hits and drove in three runs. He played in six games for the Goldeyes and batted .236 with five hits.
Lewis spent the 2010 season with the Coastal Bend Thunder and played in 89 games. He posted a .275 batting average with three home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 stolen bases.
Lewis joins the Roadrunners after being in spring training with the team and will take Pino's spot on the roster.
The Roadrunners continue their four-game series with the San Angelo Colts Tuesday morning with Kid's Day and wrap up the series Wednesday night at Edinburg Baseball Stadium with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
