Blues Flame Friday: Those 21-and-older can get their weekend started at the BMO at the Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party. Andrew Robinson will be performing while guests enjoy free appetizers and drink specials. Fans with a game ticket must enter through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm St. near the box office. Pom Pom Winter Hat Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans 21-and-older will receive winter hats courtesy of Bud Light.
Matchup: The IceHogs face the Barracuda for the first time ever on Rockford ice. The two Western Conference teams last met on Oct. 9 for the season opener in San Jose. Rockford saw success against their Pacific Division opponent, winning 4-2 with half of the goals including an assist coming from Tanner Kero. The IceHogs look to extend their three-game winning streak, as well as improve their record (6-3-0-0) against Pacific Division opponents.
Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 vs. Stockton Heat
Time: 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Pink in the Rink: For the seventh year in a row, the IceHogs are painting the ice pink and wearing pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness.
Jersey Auction: All pink jerseys worn by the IceHogs will be up for grabs. During the game, two will be raffled off, while the rest will be sold to the highest bidder via blind silent auction behind section 122. Fans who win a jersey at the game will have the opportunity to get it signed and take a picture with the corresponding player immediately afterwards. The week following the game, Tanner Kero and Mark Dano's jerseys will be placed on the IceHogs eBay store. A portion of the proceeds will go to breast cancer research charities in the Rockford area.
Pink Glow Stick Giveaway: Swedish American Hospital will be giving away pink LED baton to the first 2,500 fans.
Locks of Love: SportClips will be at the BMO to cut hair and accept donations for Locks of Love though the second period. The minimum donation length is ten inches. For all hair donation requirements, please visit the Locks of Love website at http://www.locksoflove.org/get-involved/.
Matchup: For the first time since suffering their first loss of the season on Oct. 10, the IceHogs will meet the Heat. Since Stockton's 7-0 win over the Hogs, they have made their way to the bottom of the Pacific Division standings with a record of 12-15-1-2.
