
The Distillery to Hold Ghost Wing-Eating Contest, Postgame Party at January 18 Amerks Game

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Americans announced that The Distillery will hold its annual Ghost Wing-eating contest at the Amerks' 3:05 p.m. game on Monday, Jan. 18 versus the Syracuse Crunch. Following the game, The Distillery will host a postgame party at the restaurant's Greece location.
The annual Ghost Wing-Eating Contest sponsored by The Distillery will take place in the tunnel located between sections 114 and 116 during the second intermission of Monday's game. The contestant that eats the most chicken wings soaked in The Distillery's signature "Ghost" hot sauce in two minutes will win a prize pack courtesy of The Distillery and the Amerks.
Fans can sign up for the chance to participate in the contest at the podium in the Upper Atrium or can visit www.amerks.com in advance. Only four contestants will be chosen to compete, and all four contestants will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming Amerks game.
Amerks players will stop by The Distillery, located at 300 Paddy Creek Circle, following the game for a postgame party as fans are invited to join in. The Distillery will offer a variety of great food and drink specials while Amerks prizes will be given away throughout the party.
