
Pink in the Rink Celebrity Servers at Kelsey's & Montana's on Friday

(Peterborough, ON)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce that players will be acting as Celebrity Servers at Kelsey's (1209 Lansdowne St. W.) and Montana's Cookhouse (870 The Parkway) from 5-9pm on Friday, January 16, 2015. Members of the community are encouraged to visit either location to help the Petes support the sixth annual Pink in the Rink campaign.
Petes players will be at each restaurant during the event acting as celebrity servers, and fans will have the opportunity to purchase $10 fundraising Pink in the Rink t-shirts.
Everyone who purchases a t-shirt will be entered to win one of two dinners for four at Kelsey's or Montana's (each a $100 value), and will be joined by two Peterborough Petes players of choice for dinner. Secondary prizes at each restaurant include a $50 dinner and stay at the Comfort Inn.
"We are proud to join the Petes in supporting the Canadian Cancer Society and Pink in the Rink," said David Czarnik, local Kelsey's & Montana's owner. "Our restaurants are committed to helping fight cancer, especially in the Peterborough community."

Fans are encouraged to continue their support of the Canadian Cancer Society by attending the Pink in the Rink charity game night on Saturday, February 7 as the Petes take on the Windsor Spitfires. TV sports anchor and Peterborough native Dan O'Toole, the honorary campaign chairperson, will speak prior to the game, with many other opportunities to support the cause.
