
Phillips Clutch Again, Travs 13-3 in Last 16

Tulsa, OK - The Arkansas Travelers improved to 13-3 over their last 16 games after a 3-2 win on Saturday night at ONEOK Field.
With the game tied 2-2 in the ninth, Travs SS Anthony Phillips lined a go-ahead RBI single to center with two outs to put Arkansas on top. Phillips contributed two of the three Travs RBIs on Saturday and is 7-for-11 with four RBIs, three runs, two doubles and two walks in the series.
Tulsa put men on the corners with one out in the bottom of the ninth, but LHP Tyler DeLoach (S, 3) struck out back-to-back batters to end the game.
After RHP Victor Alcantara worked four innings, LHP Chris O'Grady (W, 3-1) did the same. Both pitchers allowed a single earned run.
The Drillers scored a run in the bottom of the first, just to see DH Eric Aguilera launch is second home run in as many days to lead off the second and tie the game 1-1.
Aguilera finished 2-for-4 with the home run, his 13th of the season, and now has 60 RBIs.
LF Tim Arakawa went 2-for-5 for the Travs.
With the win, the Travs have now won six straight against Tulsa and 10 of the last 13 meetings. Arkansas is 20-16 in the second half and leads the North Division by two games over Northwest Arkansas.
Arkansas and Tulsa will conclude the four-game series on Sunday afternoon at ONEOK Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
