
Philadelphia Union Exercise 2020 Options on Eight Players

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today announced that they have exercised the contract options on eight players from their 2019 roster, while twelve contracts were already guaranteed for next season, giving the club a roster that currently features 20 players under contract for the 2020 campaign.
The club picked up the options of Joe Bendik, Cory Burke, Warren Creavalle, Anthony Fontana, Olivier Mbaizo, Mark McKenzie, Michee Ngalina, Matt Real.
The contracts of the following players were already guaranteed for the 2020 season: Brenden Aaronson, Alejandro Bedoya, Andre Blake, Jack de Vries, Jack Elliott, Matt Freese, Raymon Gaddis, Kacper Przybylko, Sergio Santos, Cole Turner, Kai Wagner, Andrew Wooten.
A Bona fide offer has been extended to Ilsinho. The Union have submitted offers to Aurelien Collin, Fafa Picault and Jamiro Monteiro.
Simultaneously, the Union announced that they have declined the contract options of Fabinho, Marco Fabián, and RJ Allen. Haris Medunjanin is out of contract and the club will not be seeking a new contract.
