
Phil Gibson Traded to the Roughriders

Montreal, August 4, 2003 - Montreal Alouettes General Manager Jim Popp announced today the team had traded defensive tackle Phil Gibson to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for a 2004 draft pick and a 2005 draft pick.
Gibson played his second game with the Alouettes last Tuesday against Winnipeg and made two tackles and a quarterback sack. He was drafted by the Alouettes in the third round (18th overall) in 2001. Since then, he only dressed for one game in 2002.
The Alouettes are playing the Hamilton Tiger-Cats this Friday, August 8, at Percival Molson Stadium (RDS/CKAC 730/CJAD 800). Tickets are available at all Admission outlets at (514) 790-1245 or at 1-800-361-4595.
