Pheasants to Face Shreveport in American Association Championshp Series Starting Tuesday

Sioux Falls, SD-The Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants will open the 2010 American Association Championship Series this Tuesday in Shreveport, LA against the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. Game time is 7:05 PM. The Captains advanced to the championship series after a dramatic 7-6 walk-off win over Pensacola in Game 5 of the South Division Series Sunday night in Shreveport. Game 2 of the best-of-five series will also take place in Shreveport on Wednesday night before the series shifts to Sioux Falls for Game 3 on Friday, September 10th at 7:05 PM. If necessary, Games 4 and 5 would also take place in Sioux Falls, Saturday and Sunday.
The Pheasants went 1-1 against Shreveport-Bossier during the regular season and will be hunting for their second league championship in three years. Tickets for Game 3 of the series will go on sale this Tuesday, September 7th at 10 AM at the Sioux Falls Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. The Pheasants claimed the North Division championship by sweeping the Lincoln Saltdogs in three games earlier this week.
