Phantoms Host Family Day Game Sunday Featuring Performance from the Fur Circus

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Phantoms will hold a Family Day Game this upcoming Sunday when they host the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the Covelli Centre. The Family Day festivities will be highlighted by a "Big Top Stop" from The Fur Circus, but also include pregame activities on the concourse and a free postgame skate for fans with the Phantoms players.

The Covelli Centre doors will open early at 11:30 a.m. EST for loads of pregame fun with free face painting, a design-a-sign station and the FURlarious antics of the Fur Circus! The fun with the Fur Circus will continue through puck drop at 1 p.m. with in-game skits during play stoppages, interactive performances between periods and a free autograph session following the contest!

In addition, all children 10 years and under will receive a free bouncing session in the inflatable Bounce-A-Round house. Then after the game, fans are invited to take the ice with the Phantoms players and the Fur Circus for a free postgame skate! There will be a limited number of skates in select sizes available for free rental, all provided by the Ice Zone, but fans are encouraged to bring their own.

The Fur Circus is the newest traveling live performance act to hit the entertainment scene. Comprised of four main characters, Rizzo, Buddy, Myles and Splash, the circus-themed mascot act brings humor and unexpected antics to ballparks, arenas and events around the country.
