Petes Win Bobby Orr Trophy Defeating the North Bay Battalion in Seven Games

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes have punched their ticket to the franchise's 14th OHL championship series in team history with a 3-2 win over the North Bay Battalion, taking the series 4-3 in seven games. The Petes will now face the London Knights for the J. Ross Robertson Cup in a rematch from 2006. The championship series is scheduled to start on Thursday, May 11.
This is Peterborough's second Bobby Orr trophy since the award was introduced in 1999. The Petes made 12 appearances in the OHL Final before the trophy was introduced. In total, this will be the Petes' 14th appearance in the OHL Final. The team will be in search of its 10th J. Ross Robertson Cup win.

Tickets for games three and four will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 11 at 9:30 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets starting Thursday, or by contacting the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office in person or at (705) 743-3561. Fans are encouraged to act fast in order to secure their seats.
The only way to guarantee tickets for round four home games is with a season ticket package. Fans can purchase packages, while supplies last, by contacting (705) 743-3681 ext. 6000, or by emailing tickets@gopetesgo.com. Fans can take advantage of up to 25% savings on playoff tickets with a season ticket package.
Pre-authorized Season Ticket Members do not need to contact the Box Office for round four tickets; their tickets will be automatically distributed before game three. Season Ticket Members without a bundle will have access to purchase their seats until Sunday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m.
Fans who did not pre-authorize and would like to purchase a round four bundle can do so through the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office starting on Wednesday May 10. Season Ticket Member bundles must be purchased by Friday, May 12 at 5:00 p.m. Box office hours are 9:30-5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

The Petes are back in action on Thursday, May 11 in London for game one of their OHL Final best of seven series against the Knights. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Fans can catch the game on OHL Live, TSN, or Freq 90.5.
