Peterborough Petes News Release

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes are on home ice twice this week, first hosting the Central Division-leading Sudbury Wolves on Thursday, March 12 at 7:05pm. It will be the team's only $5 Student Night of the season - all elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students can purchase a ticket in the Mary Brown's Family Zone for just $5, while supplies last.

Thursday's game is presented by Real Canadian Superstore. A couple of lucky fans will compete in an on-ice shopping cart race for the chance to win 250,000 PC Optimum

Evan Sheffield, a kindergarten teacher at R.F. Downey Public School who will be performing in the upcoming Peterborough Theatre Guild production of Annie, will sing the national anthem.

One the ice, the Petes will look to earn their fifth straight win in what will be their final regular season match up against the visiting Wolves. Nick Robertson, who has 55 goals on the season and 5 in his last three games, continues to hunt down the Petes' single season goal scoring record of 63 set by Scott Tottle in 1983-84.

After the game, be sure to stick around for our post-game autograph session which will feature defenceman Jacob Paquette and goaltender Tye Austin.
