Petes Select Tommy Purdeller in 2022 CHL Import Draft

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes have selected Tommy Purdeller from Brunico, Italy with the 15th pick in 2022 CHL Import Draft.

The Petes selected the 6'0" Forward from Brunico, Italy who most recently played for EC Red Bull Akademie in Salzburg, Austria.

When asked about the Petes, Tommy said: "[I've] heard good things, the city seemed really nice and everything around it. I heard that the fans are really incredible, heard that it is a really good hockey city and yeah the support is really good."

When discussing his game, Tommy said: "I think I'm a power forward, I give 100% every shift and also support my teammates. In bad situations, I try to motivate the team and be a good leader. I'm a good playmaker that can make good plays and find my teammates. I also like to crash the net a lot."

When asked about Tommy, Peterborough Petes GM, Mike Oke said: "[We're] excited to add Tommy, he is a player with good skills that plays hard."
