Petes Select Three Players in the 2018 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes selected three players in the 2018 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

In the first round, with the third overall pick, the Petes selected Dustin Hutton of the Vaughan Kings. The 5'10", 150lbs centre recorded 51 goals, 58 assists, and 109 points in 70 games this season.

"I'm truly honoured and excited to be selected by the Petes," commented the first-rounder. "I can't wait to get started, and hopefully play in Peterborough next season."

In the rounds to follow, the team added two promising 2001-born players, a goalie and a centre, to the depth chart. They are as follows:

1st round, 3rd overall: Dustin Hutton, Vaughan Kings, C/L, 5'10", 150lbs

2nd round, 23rd overall: Kyle Curtin, Brantford 99'ers, G, 6'2", 160lbs

3rd round, 42nd overall: Brady Egan, Pembroke Lumber Kings, C/L, 5'10", 160lbs

Players will be introduced to fans at the team's annual Development Camp scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22.
