(Peterborough, ON, August 19, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are searching for a Marketing & Design Intern for the September to December term of the 2014/15 regular season.

The desired candidate will have experience and a desire to grow their graphic design portfolio, particularly relating to projects surrounding sport marketing and advertising. Successful candidates will have an interest in learning more about design programs including Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

Preference will be given to candidates that require an Internship experience as credit toward the completion of an accredited college or university program.

There will also be an opportunity to take on additional projects of interest to the student, including media relations, photography, video production and distribution, and writing/editing projects.

"My time as an intern with the Peterborough Petes was nothing short of outstanding." Noted Tamara Burns, former Petes Intern and current Game Night Coordinator for the Belleville Bulls. "The experience provided me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the sports industry, and undoubtedly attributed to my successful acquisition of a full-time position in the OHL."

Interested candidates can apply to this and other postings by visiting the Petes' Job Opportunities page. Resumes and cover letters should be submitted to Burton Lee at blee@gopetesgo.com no later than August 31st, 2014.
