(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes scored 250 goals over the course of the 2019-20 season, and now they're asking fans to choose the best one.
In a bracket-style challenge, fans will be asked to cast their vote for what they think is the better goal in a head-to-head match up that will be posted each day on the Petes' social media channels.
The 'Round of 32' will begin on Tuesday, July 7.
After watching a video of the match up, fans can vote for the goal of their choice in the following ways for 48 hours after each match up is posted:
- On Twitter by selecting the goal scorer in the associated poll
- On Facebook by commenting the last name of the goal scorer on the video post
- On Instagram by commenting the last name of the goal scorer on the video post and by selecting the goal scorer on the 'story' feature poll
After five rounds and a total of 31 match ups, a Goal of the Year winner will be crowned.
Fans can find updates on the bracket challenge, plus all other things Maroon and White, on the Petes website.
