Petes Fall to Wolves in Second Meeting of the Season

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes fell 5-2 to the Wolves in Sudbury on Saturday night, marking their second loss in the Nickel City this season.

The Wolves scored once in the second period then twice early in the third before Nick Robertson (17) got the Petes on the board. Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (3) followed up with a power play tally before Sudbury sealed their victory with an insurance marker and an empty net goal.

Declan Chisholm recorded two assists, extending his league leading point streak to 14 games. Der-Arguchintsev and Zach Gallant each recorded single helpers.

Final shots were 36-20 in favour of the Wolves.

The Petes were 1/2 on the power play and 4/4 on the penalty kill.

The Petes wrap up the weekend with a visit to North Bay to face the Battalion on Sunday, November 3 at 2:00pm.
